Resume:

I have over 40 years of experience selling “Mission-Critical” No other real estate agent compares to the “Trial-by-fire” experience I have lived throughout my Sales Career. For example, I spent 22 years in the “Highly stressful” environment of the Operating Room, solving mission-critical & technical issues. A work environment where failure was not an option. (Expectations are incredibly high) In addition, I don’t believe other real estate agents have my level of training and experience selling to various personalities. For example, Physicians are very different from Administrators or support staff.

My work experience demonstrates my high level of sales skills necessary to get the best deals in Real Estate. The best deals are “Win/Win”; everybody gets what they want, and a great salesperson makes this seem smooth and natural.

Previously to Real Estate, I owned an Orthopedic distribution company (Osteo-West Surgical Corp). I sold “Total Joint Implants (Shoulders & Elbows) to Orthopedic Surgeons. My workload included negotiating pricing contracts with highly educated “Sophisticated” hospital administrators & purchasing managers at Scripps, Sharp, PPH, UCSD, VA, and Kaiser Permanente Healthcare. As an independent business owner, I hired, managed & trained a salesforce to “cover” orthopedic surgeries throughout the area.

My company was very successful and eventually was acquired by Tornier-Wright Medical, where I worked as General Manager. Then, finally, we were sold again to Stryker Orthopedics.

Before medical sales, I worked for a major engineering firm selling highly specialized compressor valves to mechanical engineers. My customers included both Exxon and Chevron refineries, including their offshore platforms.

I worked as a Stockbroker for eight years, finishing my career at Smith Barney.

Upon finishing college, I obtained series 7 and 63 licenses as a Registered Representative licensed to sell stocks and options at Smith Barney.

I am married to my fantastic wife of 20 years. And have one son. Family is everything; I spend all my free time with them, hiking and exploring the beaches—family life.

Currently, I volunteer as Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 271. (Boy Scouts of America) Teaching Character and Leadership values to young men. I promote my mantra, “Do the right thing when nobody is looking.” Along with the BSA oath.
